Leadership for Every Athlete

Player-Led Teams Win Championships

You teach your athletes to win.
Now teach them to lead.

The System

The System Designed to Maximize the Leadership Potential of Every Athlete

Some of the greatest life lessons are learned in sports. But it works both ways. Athletes with high character lead better, step up more, and work harder. Our proven system grows that character and builds elite leaders.

Relationships that Build Your Culture

Athlete-to-athlete. Athlete-to-coach. These are the relationships that build trust, respect, and buy-in. And this is the system to make that happen.

Culture Dips are Real. Our Weekly Rhythm minimizes them.

Whether it's the dog days of camp, losing streaks, or bye weeks, our weekly structure keeps your athletes actively engaging your values and growing as leaders.

You're Not Hiring a Consultant – You're Installing a System

Your coaches learn to run it. Your players learn to own it. We support the process so it gets done right. And you end up with a system that builds leaders for years to come.

Every Athlete becomes a Leader – Not just your Captains

On a true Player Led Team, every athlete becomes a leader, and your culture doesn't walk out the door when seniors graduate.

The Cadence

It Fits Inside the Practice You Already Run

No new period. No lost reps. A few minutes at the end of Monday's practice sets the tone for the entire week.

  1. 1

    Watch — five minutes

At the end of Monday's practice, the team watches that week's message — filmed by one of your own coaches, as real and personal as they can make it.

  2. 2

    Talk it through

The team unpacks what it means and how they'll apply it — in the classroom, in their sport, and in life.

  3. 3

    Live it all week

Athletes are held accountable to look for the week's principle and put it into action every day until the next Monday.

  4. 4

    Catch it in the act

Coaches highlight the principle the moment it shows up — in a drill, in a game, in the hallway — capturing leadership in real time.

Do It Up Big

We Make the Message Impossible to Miss

We leverage teachers, students, and media so your message reaches every athlete everywhere they look — and becomes a movement your whole school can rally around.

A Media Library That Sells Your Program

Your film and A/V students turn each message into polished, professional video — content that moves the needle with your athlete and makes your program look elite to both parents and administrators.

Your Culture on Every Wall and Screen

On posters, hallway displays, and the video feed, your values move out of the locker room and into every corner of the building.

Teachers Carry It Into Class

When your teachers and staff know the week's principle, they spot it, name it, and reinforce it in classrooms and hallways — so it follows your athletes through the entire school day, not just practice.

Athletes Who Own It

When students create, share, and star in the message, they stop watching your culture from the sidelines and start driving it.

Your Whole Athletic Department

Every Coach Leads. Every Sport Connects.

A tiny lift for each coach

Each coach takes charge of just one or two powerful messages all year. We give them the structure and support to execute it, and your A/V club polishes it and wows your athletes. Eventually, athletes take over, stepping into a truly player-led team.

One athletic community

When every coach takes part, the walls between teams come down. Athletes find mentors across every sport — coaches they'd never have known otherwise — and the whole athletic department starts speaking the same language.

Why It Matters

Character Education Left the School Day. This Brings It Back.

For the School

In far too many districts, character education has been stripped out of the school day. PLT restores it — department-wide — without touching a single minute of instructional time.

For Your Teams

When athletes lead better, they try harder, show up more, and step onto the field more prepared to compete. And the culture stops walking out the door with your seniors.

For the Athlete

At the most formative moment of their lives, student-athletes build the character that carries into school, relationships, and everything that comes after sports.

The Origin

Coach Chris' Journey

Coach Chris discovered the power of Player Led Teams by accident – or more accurately, by necessity. Budget cuts thrust him into the reality of coaching a 14-event varsity track team with no assistants.

He had to depend on his seniors to lead and shoulder new responsibilities. He thought it would be a disaster. But as it turned out, guys were more bought in. Their character grew. And by the time he was done, every athlete who ran for all 4 years in his program qualified for the state finals in at least one event.

Now after decades of coaching and training leaders in virtually every arena, he's brought his wealth of knowledge back to the sports world, so programs across the country can experience the incomparable benefits of a true Player Led Team.
